Description
It is easy to fall into naive visions of what it means to be theological educators and scholars. The reality is that we often find ourselves working in challenging circumstances of great stress. Our students also live in challenging times and experience different forms of stress.
In this insightful nanocourse, Professor Jos de Kock helps us explore how educators in faith communities can adequately serve in challenging contexts through the practice of learning in encounter.
Course Outcomes
Students completing this course will know how 'learning in encounter' can be understood as a concept and as a practice in current-day practices of religious education and youth ministry and as a practice in the theological faculty.
