The course is useful both for quality assurance agencies, peer reviewers (VETs) and institutions involved in self-assessment of their online delivery. This course engages with an article that appeared in E-Learning and Digital Media entitled 'Where is the Character Education in Online Higher Education? Constructivism, Virtue Ethics and Roles of Online Educators' (Harrison and Laco). The course explores how character education can be achieved in theological education with a particular focus on using discussion forums.
