Leadership that Transforms Education (Nepal, GATE)

This is an event-based course for the GATE Workshop, conducted in February 2020 in India, exploring how administrative practices such as leadership styles, decision making, personnel management, and conflict resolution impact the learning of students in a school.   Course learning materials and discussion will be provided locally during the event, and this ICETE Academy course will provide opportunities for engagement, testing of acquisition and certification.

Faculty Development

This course is primarily designed for academic leaders who administer teachers but it will also have benefit for all those who teach. Those completing this course will gain the tools to evaluate teachers and to develop practical plans for developing their own teaching skills and those of their faculty team. This is a 10 hour, self-paced online course that will be assessed through a project and a self-grading quiz.

Leadership with Style

This course introduces the concept of leadership styles and involves you in a critical evaluation of their relevance to your leadership role. The course is relevant to leaders in theological education that wish to creatively and discerningly engage with a variety of styles. This is a 10 hour, self-paced online course that will be assessed through a reflective essay and a self-grading quiz.

Leadership that Works

This course explores five foundational competences for executive leaders in theological training programs, based on Auburn Study – “Leadership that Works” – team-building, faculty relations, financial management, institutional advancement, and guiding the mission, vision and values.  This course is suitable as a foundational orientation for recently named and future executive leaders, who need foundations for their leadership in a theological education institution.” This is a 10 hour, self-paced online course that will be assessed through a project and a self-grading quiz.

Global Voices on Leadership

This is a course course introduces a critical analysis of leadership by bringing in the global voices, to help understand how different cultural voices help the reader make better sense of leadership.   This course is suited both for local leaders and for those serving in cross cultural situations.  This is a 10 hour, self-paced online course that will be assessed through a project and a self-grading quiz.
